About Cottage Nurseries

Welcome to our new internet site which is dramatically different this year. We are now listing over 1000 varieties of plants for mail order some of which are not widely available. New varieties will be added to the list as they become available during the season.

Our nursery and garden have taken on a new image with exciting plants for you to see growing in the gardens many of which are available for purchase. Come and see for yourselves. We are always pleased to welcome visitors to our family run nursery situated at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds near the attractive market town of Alford. If you are looking for particular plants please telephone before travelling to avoid disappointment. Remember that if a plant you are looking for is not in the list there are always treasures tucked away on the nursery – just ask!

The nursery is open every day from 1^st March to 20^th October from 9am to 5pm and 10am to 3pm from 21^st October to 28^th February. The nursery is closed 18^th December until 9^th January. If you wish to visit or collect an order at other times other than our regular opening times please contact us.

If you wish to collect an order placed through this catalogue please give us a few days notice. A 10% discount is given for all collected orders and obviously postage and packing charges do not apply.

The nursery is situated a mile out of Alford on the A1104 Mablethorpe road. Turn right at the bottom of the hill and we are 400 yards on the left. A map is included below.
